Session length – 4 weeks

Cost per session - $75.00

Class Description: Introductory classes are offered for youth (ages 7-13) and adults (ages 14 and up) with all necessary equipment provided. The Introductory course offers instruction in footwork, bladework, distance control, tactics and bouting.  The aim of the course is to provide a knowledge base that will give the student the fundamentals needed to successfully, upon completion of the session, move into one of our existing Recreational level classes and both hold their own with class members and understand the instruction being offered. Once a week classes are offered on Sundays for youth and adults, and twice a week classes are offered on either Mondays & Wednesdays for youth or Tuesdays & Thursdays for adults.  New sessions start at the beginning of each month. Private Introductory Session

Recognizing that it may be difficult for an individual to attend the scheduled introductory classes offered, we also offer private introductory sessions.  Those may be scheduled, at a mutually agreeable time, directly with an instructor.  The student will purchase a lesson card for $110.00.  This card is good for 8 / 15 minute blocks of time that may be combined into 30, 45, or 60 minute lessons.  There is no limit to the number of lesson cards one my purchase.  To inquire about our private instruction, click here to email us.

Classes are divided by age and/or ability level.  Equipment is provided through the first month of membership.  For a complete schedule of KCFC classes click here.

College Student Membership

Cost: $110.00 / 8 class punch card

Class Description:  Recognizing that college students have a challenging schedule, often forcing them to make difficult decisions regarding participation in extracurricular activities, we have added a College Student Membership to our list of programs.   The College membership allows a student to purchase a punch card good for any 8 recreational classes that fit into their schedule.  There is no expiration date on the card.  That way, if the course work is too heavy, you don’t have to choose between passing a class and attending a fencing class that you have already paid for.

This membership is available only to full-time college students.
